Title: Sr. Graphics Designer, ITW Global Brands (ITWGB)

Reports to: Director of MARCOM & Category Management, ITWGB

Location: Houston, TX

Summary:

The Sr. Graphics Designer will support the development and implementation of successful account-specific marketing activities for key accounts (Walmart, AutoZone, Dollar General, Target, Home Depot, etc.) for all retail brands (Rain-X, Gumout, Black Magic, Fix-A-Flat, Slime, Permatex, Spray Nine & Fast Orange) within the ITW Global Brands U.S.-based retail channels. S/He will have knowledge of the retail marketplace and marketing tactics to best leverage different marketing tactics (digital, social, coupons, rebates, merchandising, , customer marketing integration, training, point-of-purchase materials, etc.)  Contributes to the MARCOM team’s goal to drive organic growth and sustainable differentiation.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Facilitate creative project assignments and tracking.
  2. Lead brainstorming sessions with creative and brand teams
  3. Lead and supervise creative team
  4. Develop, track and manage annual budget.
  5. Overseeing daily tasks tied to creative development production
  6. Identify and provide solutions to ensure efficiencies. 
  7. Provide analysis to ensure the project stays within brand standards
  8. Develop creative drafts to client and other stakeholders for approval and execution.
  9. Prepare and present monthly reporting metrics based on team KPIs.

Requirements:

  1. Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design and/or at least 10 years of experience in the Graphic Arts field.

  10. Digital, social, video production and graphic design experience. with a good sense of layout best practices
  11. Retail/CPG or agency experience
  12. A strong, decisive decision maker
  13. A people person with excellent interpersonal skills
  14. Project management expert
  15. Excellent change manager
  16. Previous people management experience
  17. Position is based in Houston, Texas
