Food Equipment Group

ITW Food Equipment Group LLC, through its subsidiaries, designs, manufactures, and services commercial food equipment for foodservice and food retail customers. The company’s products include warewashing equipment; cooking equipment including ovens, ranges, and broilers; refrigeration equipment including refrigerators, freezers, and prep tables; food processing equipment including slicers, mixers, and scales; and kitchen exhaust, ventilation, and pollution control systems. Scope:  Heavy contact and interaction with internal and external stakeholders, including, but not limited to:  Account Managers, Sales Leadership, Customer Care, Credit/Finance, Hobart Service, Multiple (FEG) Product Business Units, Equipment Dealers, Wide Variety of Chain Influencers.  The representative will have unique experience of working with/for concentrated selling channels and be exposed to a variety of challenges and projects that are most critical to our business.


•         Work with Food Retail National Account Manager and sales leadership to assess and prioritize highest-impact sales activities, in support of concentrated channel and chain customer initiatives.  Examples of types of activities may include, but are not limited to:

    • Assist VPs with the overall organization of greenhouse and sales opportunity matrix and sales funnels.
    • Assist VPs with creation of content and messaging for internal reviews, such as Front-to-Back, LRP, Annual Plan, etc.
    • Assist VP and NAMs/KNAMs with gathering and interpreting of market trends and data (CSP Step 1).
    • Assist VP and NAMs/KNAMs by assessing and prioritizing targeted selling opportunities (CSP Step 1).
    • Assist NAMs/KNAMs by mapping/documenting chain influencers (CSP Step 2).
    • Assist NAMs/KNAMs, Product Line SDMs, and Hobart Service with development of product/service strategy (CSP Step 4).
    • Possibly assist NAMs with extended efforts to maximize franchisee sales.
    • Assist with coordination of execution, including logistical support, installation support, demonstration support, and follow up (CSP Step 5).
    • Lead efforts to pilot world-class customer satisfaction experience (CSP Step 5).

•         Develop detailed “Scope of Work” for each project to ensure that all (internal) parties are in agreement on objectives, strategy, timing, support required, and definition of completion/success. 

•         Identify process improvements required to keep pace with changing customer business requirements.

•         Manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.

•         Must be able to lead and influence others without direct authority.

•         Occasional travel may be required to support and develop key customer relationships.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-4 years of project management experience or other relevant experience
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams
  • Highly organized and able to work independently on multiple tasks
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and deliver as planned
  • Occasional travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of ITW toolbox methodologies, and how the decentralized businesses of ITW Food Equipment Group work together to maximize value for customers and shareholders
  • Understanding of the chain sales cycle and points of influence
  • Clear appreciation for and understanding of key ITW FEG differentiators and value proposition
  • Solid equipment and application knowledge.
