Description/Job Summary

The primary functions of this role are to perform industrial X-ray & CT inspection services on customer supplied products in accordance with customer requirements, written directions and standard industry practices and support both the Sales activities and the Customer Service activities of the business, in the Company’s effort to develop and increase its presence on a worldwide basis. On the Customer services portion of this role you will be performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs at customers facilities as well as providing user support remotely from the office for our systems users. In this role you will be reporting to the local Business Development Manager.

List of Responsibilities/Duties

Applications Work:

  • Develop X-ray and CT technique and scanning plans for customer supplied product.
    Work with Business Development Manager to quote projects and propose scanning solutions to meet customer’s needs,
    Perform x-ray and micro-CT inspections on customer supplied products in accordance with supplied instructions using industrial x-ray instrument.  Reconstruct and compile scan data with completed deliverables,
  • Perform advanced analysis work including, but not limited to, void detection analysis, CAD-Comparisons, powder analysis, fluid permeability analysis, using a wide range of CT-Analysis Software packages and programming abilities as business requires it.
    Develop full inspection plans from technique development to implementation of volume scanning projects in CT & DR,

Customer service: 

  • Interaction with clients and potential clients both on phone and in person to include webinars, onsite meetings, technical expertise, reports and presentations.  Record keeping of inspections as well as shipping of customer parts and deliverables,
    Ensure all documentation is in place for tracking & billing.  Actively organize and participate in the preventive maintenance on x-ray equipment, both at the work location of the Company as well as at customer’s sites.

Customer Support:

  • Interaction with clients and users being it for maintenance, trouble shooting, application questions or work planning, you will perform remote support or travelling to customer sites as business requires it (potentially up to 50% of your time).
    Your work on site will be tracked in a report and linked into our CRM system for traceability purposes.
    Onsite work includes mechanical, electric and electronic maintenance as well as customer training as required.

Sales Support:

  • Perform applications’ lab studies & demos in support of equipment & inspection services sales efforts as business requires it.
    This includes, but not limited to, calling customers to follow up on job’s completion and help generate new applications contracts.
    Training of peers on advanced CT analysis Software packages.

MarCom Support:

  • Perform application studies to generate MarCom material in form of, but not limited to, application notes, white papers, articles that can be used for publishing or presentation purposes,

Working Time and Travel:

  • You will be required to travel internationally as integral part of your role, as business requires it.  You will be expected to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends when necessary to meet business needs.

Delivery and Engagement

  • You will be expected to deliver results, reports, presentations within the expected timeframes defined by management and/or customer & market expectations,
