The Opportunity
Instron’s Website Manager is a critical member of our marketing team and is the technical owner of the Instron.com website that is built on the Sitecore platform.  In collaboration with your colleagues, you will help Instron launch new products, generate inbound leads, and provide a thoughtful and engaging experience for our customers on our website.  Specific responsibilities include: 
  • You will be the technical owner of Instron’s 20+ global website domains built on Sitecore CMS.
  • Be a stakeholder for the website development roadmap.
  • Provide training, mentoring, and guidance on the Sitecore platform to 30+ global content authors.
  • Liaise with our web vendor who manages our servers, develops new web components, and provides web design.
  • Review and approve content author edits for SEO, brand compliance, and general correctness.
  • Track tasks & projects through a ticketing system such as Asana or Jira while sharing progress updates with cross-functional team members.
  • Assist with the facilitation of website content translations using automated and manual processes.
  • Design, implement, and maintain an infrastructure suitable for current and future marketing requirements.
  • Act as the technical interface for exchange and integration of code and data with agencies and service providers.
 
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge, experience, and interest in Web Content Management Systems such as Sitecore, WordPress, Drupal, or similar.
  • Exceptional communication skills with proven ability to influence and foster strong relationships across IT, Marketing, Business Teams, Creative Teams and others.
  • Highly organized and very strong, proven project management skills.
  • Multi-tasking, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, computer science, or similar.
