Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a full time candidate for the position of Territory Sales Representative. The position is located in Mexico and will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager, Mexico.  Our objective is to significantly expand our reach and sales in the Mexico market. The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for managing personal sales activities in the assigned territory to ensure attainment of the sales growth objectives in dollars and units. Fully implement all business strategies according to the organization’s business plan.  Focus sales activities at the end-user customer by: developing product specifications; product approvals and new product sales.  Support the organizations distributors through joint sales calls and marketing programs.  Implement programs to successfully introduce new products and broaden product focus in both end-user and distribution accounts.   You will be responsible for achieving assigned goals and surpassing yearly sales revenue targets.

Key Duties:

  • Meet / exceed sales revenue expectation on a year to year basis
  • Responsible for developing product specifications, product approvals and sales orders at end-user customers in the assigned geographic region.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, new customers and distributor partners through personal / direct meetings, telephone contact and email.  Focus the main direction of communication activities through direct contact.
  • Maintain a strong focus on developing new accounts and new business opportunities in diverse industries.
  • Maintain a complete and thorough understanding of the product line, product applications and pricing policies.
  • Sell products in a consultative manner and make recommendations to prospects and clients of the various product and application solutions the company offers. 
  • Work with distributor sales representatives in assigned region to develop sales through joint sales calls on end-users and product training. 
  • Support assigned regional distribution by increasing product line breadth, new product acceptance and focus on the organizations product line. 
  • Implement marketing and business plan programs as assigned.  Provide feedback on key competitors and market trends. 
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, opportunities, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory.  Complete all required reporting on a timely and accurate basis.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study. 
  • 2+ years’ sales experience in a business to business role
  • Bi-lingual skills (Spanish & English) a strong plus
  • Be able to work independently
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Desire to grow sales in a competitive market

Work Environment and Travel

  • Position requires the Territory Sales Representative to work out of home as base office. 
  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
  • Walking, bending, lifting and stooping are required to transport samples to distribution representatives and end-users.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively within assigned territory (75% plus) and able to travel in a vehicle for moderate to long road trips to visit distribution representatives and end-users.
