Technical Trainer – Norwood, MA

Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic technical training professional to join our Training/Technical Support team working in our Norwood, MA office.  You must have an engineering aptitude to understand our systems, by reviewing engineering documentation and then applying this knowledge to provide training to our customers and field service engineers/technical support engineers.  As a mentor and technical expert, you will be required to develop and deliver instructional and training curriculum at both the operator and troubleshooting levels.  You’ll also be involved developing programs for our new eLearning site.  In addition, the TSE will be responsible for handling the more difficult technical support problems over the phone or at a customer’s site.  Some overnight travel is expected (approximately 30%).
 
Requirements
Successful applicants will have a BS in a technical degreed program and 3 to 5 years’ of experience in a related field is preferred.  Must show a demonstrated ability in course planning, development, and delivery to students at all levels.  A basic knowledge of material testing, electromechanical and hydraulic systems, electronic circuitry, and machine design is required as is significant experience in the use of Windows based software and desktop publishing of training documentation and material.  In addition, you must be self-motivated and possess exceptional organizational, time management and interpersonal skills.  You must have a customer focused attitude, be a team player as well as the ability to work independently, and have demonstrated excellent written/oral skills.
