Currently, we have an opening in our company headquarters in Glenview, Illinois for a Strategic Sourcing Analyst. Qualified person should be a collaborator who is good at relationship building; forecasting, creating and analyzing reports; and have general procurement knowledge.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Champion a strategic sourcing process that will substantially reduce total costs
  • Interface and act as the liaison between our divisions and suppliers
  • Data Analytics- ability to compile and analyze large data sets from various formats. Highly capable at identifying anomalies and presenting organized solutions  
  • Utilize sourcing best practices and Esourcing technology tools to optimize results through sourcing events
  • Collect and collate data for RFP’s,  evaluation of bids and manage implementations through to contracting phase
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers ensuring they meet quality and service requirements while maintaining competitive prices

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain or related degree required. 
  • 2+ years of procurement experience
  • Project management and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Self-starter capable of working independently
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Ideal candidate is entrepreneurial and driven by a new challenge
  • Willingness to travel 20%
