DESCRIPTION

  • Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major municipal governments and company, gaining a complete understanding of needs.
  • Appraise key account potentials and implement strategic planning to improve client results.
  • Confers with engineering, production, and marketing staff to determine feasibility, cost effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products.
  • Negotiating contracts with client and establishing timeline of performance.
  • Consults with department heads to plan advertising services and to secure information on equipment and customer specifications.
  • Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training
  • Support initiatives resulting from the adoption of the ITW toolbox.
  • Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of marketing mix.
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of five (5) years directly related work experience.
  • Requires broad based skills in communication, organizing, problem solving and influencing.
  • Working knowledge of contracts and commercial commitments.
  • Technically competent computer skills, and experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on superior Excel skills..
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person.
  • Completion of ITW Toolbox core coarse training.
  • Strong foundation of financial accounting and cost
  • Travel may include as much as 30%, primarily domestic, but may include some international.


EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, sales with special emphasis on Political Science preferred
