Job Description


Responsible for Accounts Receivable, payroll and various general accounting tasks.


Primary Responsibilities:

•       Process billing and prepare a daily sales file for distribution to managers

•       Update scrap reporting daily

•       Daily cash application

•       Follow up with customers on open/short paid invoices

•       Run weekly general ledger interfaces and post entries

•       Balance sales weekly or as needed for reporting

•       Prepare journal entries as needed

•       Review general ledger for product costing errors

•       Month End

o   Run final billing

o   Close Accounts Receivable

o   Run assigned month end reports

o   Prepare assigned month end reconciliations

•       Fixed Assets

o   Enter closed projects onto BNA

o   Prepare journal entries for fixed asset additions/deletions

o   Prepare monthly depreciation journal entries

•       Intercompany Settlements – Ensure cash receipts spreadsheet is up to date. 

•       Contact and ensure intercompanies and Body are in balance for monies transfers 

•       Reconcile amounts owed to and from other ITW units and submit the results to BMG

•       Bi-Weekly payroll processing

•       Other projects and tasks as assigned

Job Requirements


•       Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience required

•       2+ years’ experience in accounting and payroll experience required

•       Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

•       Must have strong organizational skills

•       Strong computer skills – proficient understand of Excel required including but not limited to:  SUMIF, VLOOKUP, SUBTOTAL

•       Strong attention to detail, accuracy and ability to meet strict deadlines

•       Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
