Job Description

•       Work with Service to develop and improve warranty codes in ERP

•       Use these warranty codes to develop Warranty Dashboards.

•       Develop Warranty Dashboards reports to identify projects that reduce warranty cost.

•       Work with engineering department to create and document DFMEA and DV&P test plans for critical components.

•       Work with procurement department  to validate new suppliers through off-site visits and reliability testing of their products

•       Work with procurement department to develop and document current suppliers with a supplier scorecard, and take corrective action as needed

•       Work with Sustain Engineering on cost reduction projects related to material, labor, and warranty.

Job Requirements


•       Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Operations, preferably Mechanical Engineering



•        Five or more years’ experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment

•        Ability to read fabrication drawings specifications, including geometric tolerance and welding specifications

•        Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) MS Project and MS Access a plus

•        Proficient in SolidWorks, CAD, and 3D model viewer/software, including attribute assignments



Must be able to:

•       Perform activities including bending, stooping, standing, walking

•       Stand and walk from two (2) to four (4) hours per day

•       Climb up and down stairs four (4) to six (6) times per day

•       Operate common office equipment, i.e. PC, phone, copier, printer, fax

•       Work in climate controlled environment

•       Travel occasionally, by various means of transportation, including car, train, bus, plane
