Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead marketing at the Business Unit level to execute on the division strategy, driving improved sales & profitability across all professional channels
• Partner with the Business Unit Manager to understand and lead initiatives that will positively impact market trends, including:
o Execute the marketing strategy in line with company & division objectives
o Execute growth levers and assess the ROI of investments made to support brands/products
o Determining the right pricing tiers, margin and channel targets across the product line to deliver business growth. This also includes gaining alignment with sales on pricing/product strategies and promotions & communicating with distributors on marketing/product pricing strategies
o Lead Product Line Simplification (PLS) activity, working closely with cross-functional partners to simplify, consolidate and reduce complexity among products, brands, sku’s & other areas
• Lead the planning and execution of new product launches and aide in the development of all launch and selling materials, packaging, labels, and communication assets.
o Manage all marketing for three channels: New Car Dealer, Tire/Muffler/Brake, Quick Lube
o Plan/implement promotional campaigns with end user and key stakeholders’ mindset
o Assume full responsibility for brand management, positioning and product identity for all products marketed, sold, and/or developed for or by ProAp
o Prepare in-store, online, print, demonstration and other marketing materials for various campaigns (either in house or through agencies)
o Monitor, measure, correct and report effectiveness of marketing communications and customer feedback as well as product / brand positioning
o Provide robust marketing materials to enable successful sales sell-in and presentation to key customers in support of priority initiatives.
• Partner with sales to plan, attend and maximize the value of key customer engagements including trade shows, distributor conferences and meetings, and industry exhibits
• Oversee, influence and help international distributors create successful execution plans for their respective regions/markets.
• Support and improve the existing Sales Funnel to hit monthly/ quarterly Sales Goals by showcasing the product value proposition and developing ‘business development’ programs to win new business
• Oversee marketing budget / spend, monitoring ROI and adapting to changing business/market dynamics
• Create and publicize all material in line with marketing plans for internal and external customers

Qualifications:
• 8 Years of Marketing related experience
• 3-5 years of experience leading and managing a team
• 3+ years of experience in Automotive Industry experience
• Keen attention to detail and the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies
• Strong ability to prioritize, focus resources and secure cross-functional stakeholder support
• Excellent reading and language comprehension (oral and written) and communication skills
• Ability to work with a team at all levels of an organization
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage time and handle multiple projects and priorities
• Familiarity with both classical & digital marketing strategies and tactics. An Omni-Channel mindset
