ITW Medical is comprised of three highly-respected medical product brands - Coeur, Filtertek & Precise Biomedical – supplying medical devices, components and service to global medical device brands. Filtertek manufactures molded filtration and flow control components. Precise provides technical service, maintenance & training for contrast media injectors. Coeur is a leading provider of disposable diagnostic imaging consumables.


This position serves as a key role in providing sales support, and integration between OEM customer/partners, hospitals and imaging centers. This position also represents critical sales and service support in uncovering disposable sales opportunities and assisting in the “pull through” of our disposables within the confines of service.


Technological and Service Support

 Responsible for managing the Cleveland based field service staff in customer support activities involving installation, modification, and repair of equipment and systems.

 Directs subordinates' work following established company policies and procedures. Develops schedules and assigns work to meet critical service projects.

 Possess the knowledge and skills necessary to resolve wide and varied situations covering all aspects of the business and be able to implement recommendations and decisions regarding these matters.

 Responsible for maintaining sales and loaner systems, parts inventory control and parts sales.

 Develop service strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the market place.

 Maintains knowledge of all technical training, processes and policies to support and exceed customer expectations.

 Effectively utilizes technology and processes to drive efficiency

 Assist in developing and implementing training and certification programs

 Provide Technical Support for customers, FSE’s, Sales and Customer Support Representatives.

 Responsible for performing complex electro – mechanical repairs, software updates, calibration of systems and coordinating month end repair throughput.

 Up to 30% travel primarily in assigned territory but can be deployed as needed throughout the US

Sales Support

 May approve special price concessions, quotes, bid allowances, or adjustments.

 Provides specified sales and support in the US for the ITW Medical Service Business and the Branded disposable growth by leveraging service business.

 Maintains and supports key OEM customers where ITW Medical is the primary service provider such as ACIST and Nemoto.

 Develops thorough understanding of customer base, market and individual customer needs.

 Works closely with Precise Customer Service team to receive critical assignments and foster collaboration between all parties to grow sales in service, disposables, and parts

Job Requirements


 Bachelor’s degree preferred, or acceptable work experience considered.

 Minimum of 4 years of experience in service role. Previous work experience that includes detailed knowledge of contrast injectors preferred.

 Competent technical skills with sensitive electronic devices.

 Strong written/verbal communication skills; demonstrates good listening skills; able to communicate status on process with colleagues, keep team members informed, and responds clearly to customer inquiries.

 Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrates a positive attitude and professional demeanor in working with all levels within the hospital service organization.

 Proven ability to read and interpret technical specifications

 Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and professionally interact with customers

 Proven ability to lead and influence a multi-disciplinary team of technical and sales professionals.

 Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)


 Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

 Comfortable working in confined spaces

 No pacemakers or metal implants due to service activity in an MRI department
