Alpine’s cutting edge software suite and services make us the #1 preferred partner for manufacturers in North America.  The Software Support Specialist Intern will be working directly with our industry leading design software. In addition, the Intern will assist with improvements/development of Knowledgebase articles in our CRM package. The Intern will be working on a team with over 60 years of experience in the construction industry and will gain experience in: Design software, Customer Relation Management, and in working directly with customers to assist them with questions.  Those with a passion for software technology, engineering excellence, and customer support need apply for a great experience and rewarding opportunities in targeted projects.

 Core Responsibilities:

  • Learn key principles of truss framing using our propriety design software suite.
  • Improve reporting and redevelopment of knowledgebase articles in Zendesk CRM.
  • Develop material to guide/train end-users on software issues and functionality.
Expected Learnings:

  • Basic proficiency in residential and commercial building technology.
  • CRM (Customer Relation Management) content development
  • Basic proficiency technical writing management
Job Requirements:
  • Risinig Senior pursuing a 4 year Architectural or Civil Engineering degree.
  • Experience with any CAD software helpful
  • Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
