Job Description

As part of NSI’s software team, your role will be to develop and improve state-of-the-art software for 2D and 3D X-ray imaging.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and support software for computed tomography and digital radiography acquisition, processing and visualization
  • Establish and conduct test plans to validate new and existing software
  • Create technical documentation that describes new software functionality
  • Communicate new developments and findings to internal and external customers
  • Develop and support software interfaces to a variety of hardware devices: X-ray detectors, X-ray sources, optical cameras, motion components
  • Assist service department during system installations and troubleshooting
  • Help maintain legacy code and participate in platform architecture evolution 

Job Requirements

Required Education
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics


Required Qualifications

  • Proficient in object-oriented programming (C++, C# or Java)
  • Self-motivated, flexible and customer focused

Preferred Qualifications


Experience in one or more of the following:

  • GPU programming
  • 3D computer graphics
  • Image processing
  • Computer vision
  • Computed tomography
  • Data science
