Job Description

ITW Drawform Division serves major tier suppliers with tightly toleranced and innovative components for the automotive and industrial market, holding a  leadership position in North America, a growing presence in Europe and also supports ITW initatives for our facility in China.   The division drives profitability by leveraging its innovative solutions,  design engineering and global footprint.

The Shipping Supervisor will ensure effective coordination of shipping activities, and will be responsible for meeting daily shipping schedules, ensuring proper quantities, marking and packaging of all shipments and maintenance of accurate finished goods inventory.

  • Ensure goods are verified against records of shipment.
  • Plan, schedule and oversee the daily shipping processes to ensure on-time delivery of product.
  • Ensure all packaging, labels and documentation are in full compliance with company and customer specifications.
  • Convey product to storage or other designated areas; sort and place items into storage on rack/shelves.
  • Prepare finished goods staging for shipment.
  • Maintain inventory records; report, investigate and resolve discrepancies.

Job Requirements

Requirements include:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and ERP systems.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in a lead shipping role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift certified.
