Summary
The Service Sales Specialist is a vital member of the Inside Service Group.  The position is responsible for the sales and renewal of service contracts and support agreements.  The role of the position is to be a highly proactive “can do" single point of contact for customers and to manage the long term customer relationship, in coordination with other regional team members.  Primary duties include pro-actively contacting existing and potential service and technical support agreement prospects and customers in an attempt to sell/extend their service and/or technical support agreement; contributing to the achievement of sales and service goals and quotas in assigned team territory; implementing territory sales strategies to maintain & build relationships with existing customers and to identify and qualify prospects; providing customer support through diligent telephone follow-up and maintaining and developing the territory’s customer database.
 
Requirements
Successful applicants will have an Associates’ degree in a business discipline (Bachelors’ degree preferred), technical skills acquired through 4 years or equivalent in an inside sales position and extensive telephone selling experience of service, software or technical support contracts in a technical market.  Must be an extremely responsive person, demonstrate solid computer skills and full command of all MS Office products, have a proven ability to meet sales objectives and the ability to work extended hours as necessary.
