Service Repair and Support Technician

Position Summary
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Service Repair and Support Technician. The Service Repair & Support Technician will be responsible for electrical repair, but some mechanical repair will be required.  As part of the repair process, this individual will be involved testing electronic and mechanical assemblies; such as load cells, tups, strikers, and extensometers.  Most repairs and testing will involve electrical subassemblies, but mechanical assembly repairs are also included.  In addition, there will be a need to work with customers and Field Service Engineers to develop repair quotes and communicate status. 
In this role you will troubleshoot, quote, repair and test each customer's repairs. In the trouble shooting process, this individual will need to interpret and use engineering drawings, wiring schematics, and technical manuals when necessary. You will interact with Warehouse and Logistics personnel to ensure timely shipment and proper packaging of items and must be able to plan and progress customer jobs with minimal supervision. You will act as a liaison with supply sources or other 3rd part repair facilities.

Successful candidates should have at least a 2-year technical degree or related experience.  1-2 years related experience on mechanical and electrical repairs is preferred.
