Educational/Skills Guidelines:  College education and/or industrial experience of 3-5 years are required.  Employee must have working knowledge of computer software programs such as Microsoft Excel and Word.  Must have the ability to read, write, listen well, and negotiate with customers.  Employee must have the ability to remain calm in difficult situations. Good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are required.

Job Requirements

The position of Customer Care & Logistics Coordinator is to provide support of the ITW Powertrain Fastening's order fulfillment objectives; maintain appropriate service through customer contact and provide support to the ITW Powertrain Fastening's sales agents.  This employee must service the customer inquiries, orders, request for quotes, sample and communications.  Requires detailed knowledge of products and operations and substantial independent judgment.

 

            The employee will be required to perform the following duties:

 

  • Manage customer orders daily
  • Respond to customer's inquiries, questions or concerns
  • Send samples to customers.
  • Coordinate problem resolution with appropriate departments.
  • Determine best method to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Make periodic calls to existing customers to determine satisfaction with the company service and support.
  • Analyze request for quotes, submit to Customer Service Manager for processing.
  • Become familiar with all ITW Powertrain Fastening's products in order to understand their use and their advantages.
  • Undertake special projects as assigned.
  • Cross-train with department co-workers to increase the knowledge and efficiency of department.
  • Use computer to generate a variety of documents used in expediting order.
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties including, but not limited to, composing correspondence, filing, and preparing special reports.
