Job Description

As a member of the Corporate Talent & Leadership Development team, you will provide key leadership & support for ITW’s talent acquisition and leadership development strategies to enhance the quality, depth, and diversity of the talent pipeline.

This positon will be based out of our headquarters facility in Glenview, Illinois on Chicago’s north shore, 18 miles from downtown and 9 miles from O’Hare International Airport. We are conveniently located across from the Metra commuter rail, with access to an on-site gym, café and active employee resource groups. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the successful execution of ITW’s Enterprise Internship Program, including planning program events, facilitating hiring and conversion decisions, and developing reports to track progress and impact of early-in-career talent acquisition efforts.
  • Plan and execute early-career talent acquisition events, focusing on key diversity partnerships (Society of Women Engineers, National Society of Black Engineers, National Sales Network). Maintain and foster relationships with diversity partners to ensure they are a meaningful contributor of talent to enterprise hiring goals.
  • Provide key contributions and support to Enterprise talent projects and programs, including recruitment technology simplification, leadership development programming, high-potential talent development, diversity & inclusion, and leadership development tools and resources.
  • Leverage data & analytics to inform decisions and evaluate the effectiveness of ITW’s talent acquisition and leadership development strategies.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of HR generalist experience.
  • Highly proficient project management and influencing skills, from concept, to planning, to implementation, to results measurement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that support interactions and relationship-building with candidates and internal partners
  • Ability to travel up to 10-15% of time, heaviest during fall recruiting cycle
