Job Description

As a sales specialist for the Concrete Business Unit you will be visiting contractors at their sites and offices, finding out how we can support them and deliver the most innovative and cost-effective solutions for their needs. Aligned to this, you will also be responsible for a small number of regionalised distribution partners and taking responsibility for the growth development of these accounts. Working in a fast paced, high performing environment, you will be developing key contractor relationships primarily within the Drywall and Electrical market sectors, generating demand and sales for our Distribution partners.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Professional field sales and customer consultation, with responsibility for developing and delivering opportunities for growth. Whilst continually building a sales pipeline for longer term gains.
  • To deliver on agreed company target revenue and net profit, to ensure that this sector grows at a speed which is beyond standard market growth
  • Focus on securing new opportunities along with maintaining existing business, building strong relationships with key decision makers.
  • To pro-actively seek market opportunities and lead our Distribution partners towards these, through market intelligence and data.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records of CRM systems, building extensive profiles of site and contractor opportunities/information.
  • Assist and support the implementation of the business unit sales strategy.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager and marketing teams to facilitate excellent team communication and project delivery.
  • Identifying areas of risk from competition
  • To Support the UK distribution network with an “80.20" approach and plan accordingly to maximize opportunities within the UK.
  • Ensuring targets/KPI’s are met and where not being met, identify steps to rectify
  • Provide training when required and utilise all relevant ITWCP teams to ensure high quality support

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ field sales experience
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of dealing with Accounts at all levels.
  • Good business sense and professional manner
  • Proven ability of taking full ownership of responsibilities and delivering results
  • Willingness and ability to have an impact on the business
    • Competent in Microsoft Office programmes
    • Self -Motivated
  • Solution orientated
  • Strong team player with ability and evidence of working on own initiative
  • Flexible and able to travel as and when required.
  • Full Driving License
