ITW Appliance Components serves all the major Appliance OEM in the North America, Europe, and Asia, and their tier suppliers. This global division manufactures mechanical, electromechanical and electronic components and assemblies with a variety of manufacturing processes including injection molding, stamping, automated and manual assembly. Position Summary:
The Sales Financial Analyst will report to the Sr. Financial Analyst and support the Sales function and Key Account Managers by collecting and analyzing data to evaluate existing and potential customers, markets, products and business opportunities.

• Analyze sales data to identify sales patterns and areas for improvement.
• Assess market data and competitors to identify areas of opportunity.
• Function as Customer Service Liaison and provide support with pricing and outlooking functions.
• Review margins monthly; parts, product families, OEM breakdown, etc.
• Review ROI for R&D projects and innovation dollars
• Validate pricing assumptions and quoting to “actuals” for projects
• Follow 80/20 methodology for assessing large amounts of data.
• Cognos Super-User for reporting
• Additional ad-hoc financial reporting to support the business in short-term and long-term planning

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration with one to five years industry experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to work with key stakeholders and pull data, analyze it, and translate what the data is telling us and work with business partners to plan actions accordingly
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools such as Excel to manipulate data
• Demonstrated excellent time management, prioritization abilities and strong project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with experience in communicating and working with a remote staff.
• Ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external constituencies along with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to create a results driven, team-oriented environment.
