Job Description


Duties:                                    Execute the sales strategy to drive growth in the region.  Collaborate closely with all ITW welding sales personnel to identify and support large end user conversion opportunities and defend key accounts.  Serve as the subject matter expert driving welding safety enhancements for ITW customers and apply process, product, and technical expertise to convert safety sales opportunities.  Support current sales force and customers with technical product knowledge and lead customer centered discussions with key customers at each stage of the sales process.  Identify customer needs and communicate the differentiated value that Miller Safety Solutions deliver, and maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and, participating in professional societies.  Contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed. Create presentations that monetize the value of ITW Solutions to end user customers and collaborative account planning with ITW welding sales personnel to convert/earn end user business.  Conduct technical product demonstrations as necessary and maintain consistent verbal and written communications and key activities between ITW sales resources, distributor partners, key end users, and the WAC division.  Provide on-going training and sales support for strategic end-users and distributor partners.  Execute the division’s strategy to effectively grow the business.




 

Job Requirements


Minimum Requirements:       Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering, plus 3 yrs relevant exp in the welding industry, including 3 yrs exp with safety products and knowledge of hazards associate with manufacturing welding processes, and welding variables.  Must have exp using Microsoft Office programs and CRM system.



40 hrs/wk; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Mon-Fri; Salary $102,523/yr.  Applicants should submit resumes in duplicate to Jessica Stini.
