Job Description

This position will be based in the Las Vegas market with geographic coverage in the Western US (eastern part of the territory is Texas to Minnesota), under the direction of the VP, Sales & Marketing.  The Region Sales Manager is responsible for generating sales within specified territory as well as managing multiple sales managers in other West Region markets.  This position requires a self-motivating individual to drive the sales within the geographic area assignment and train regional Branch Managers on sales technique and planning for success. Candidate will work directly with the region’s largest customers to increase sales and deliver quarterly business reviews.

  • Achieve or surpass a targeted sales plan. Targets include growth with specific 80 customers and anchor products as well as growth in target segments (Retail, Healthcare, Lodging & Higher Education).
  • Assist in the development and execution of a consistent sales process for the service organization including a sales play book and onboarding process for sales leaders.
  • Responsible for relationship management with Food Service Equipment Dealers, National Account Managers, and Territory Sales Managers.
  • Jointly responsible for the revenue growth and customer profitability of Service Districts/Branches, and key accounts within a specified geographic area. Participates in sales campaigns and contributes to sales strategy. Works jointly with indirect sales people (Inside Sales and Branch Managers).
  • Assist Regional Director in evaluating BM/RD sales capability and create sales training programs to increase effectiveness. Candidate will conduct training throughout the region.
  • Identify and maintain a list of potential customers.
  • Call on specific regional accounts and identify service product needs and close service agreements / contracts.
  • Work with local office(s) Branch Managers to communicate SLA’s and customer requirements.
  • Submit timely reports on sales activity, competitive activity and market conditions.
  • Participate in seminars and customer / association / segment trade shows.
  • Maintain knowledge of all service products applicable to segment needs and sell the full line of Service products.
  • Conduct all activities in keeping with company policies and procedures.
  • Keep Service Branch and Service Contractors (FRED’s) agents apprised of customer requirements and follow up to insure action maintaining a teamwork attitude through cooperation with other sales personnel.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree. Preferred in Business Administration or Marketing.
  • 7+ years’ experience in sales
  • 3+ years’ experience leading a sales team
  • Direct to customer sales experience with a service related product
  • Computer proficiency
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to help out as required on installs and service calls.

Physical Requirements:
  • Office and field environment
  • Up to 50% travel, primarily within assigned geographic area

  • Driving company vehicles for extended periods of time
