Alpine, an ITW company, currently has an opening for a Receiving/Inventory Control Coordinator for the production facility in Litchfield, IL. The Receiving/Inventory Control Coordinator will be responsible for the execution of the inventory cycle count program and receiving inbound activities of production, warehouse and shipping supplies. This includes data entry, PO creation, slit steel receiving, packaging inventory, finished goods cycle counts and other duties as assigned.

  • Receives inbound shipments on slit coils verifying quantity and description against purchase orders accurately and promptly.
  • Reviews available inventory, usage and creates replenishment POs to maintain proper inventory levels for production, warehouse, shipping and Safety supplies.
  • Executes inventory cycle count program and identifies process improvements to drive overall plant inventory accuracy performance.
  • Coordinates and performs regular cycle counts and physical inventory as required.
  • Follow departmental processes and safety procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent, Associates degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years inventory control experience.
  • Minimum 2 years working in warehouse/shipping environment.
  • Solid planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid attention to detail and numerical skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills (MS outlook, excel)
  • Knowledge of Kan Ban principles preferred.
