Warewash Business Division

If so, apply for the Quality Manager position at the Warewash Business Division’s Troy, Ohio location, 25 minutes north of Dayton.

The Warewash Business Division produces Hobart brand commercial dishwashers found in the kitchens of hotels, casinos, restaurants, health care, schools and universities, cruise ships, government and retail. We are in search of a Quality Manager to support business growth, product development initiatives and implementation of processes that sustain high-quality products. This position is not quality inspection!

Reporting to the Director of Engineering and Quality, this position will be responsible for assuring compliance with engineering standards and specifications as well as customer requirements. The successful candidate will lead a team to recommend improvements in designs, manufacturing processes, procedures and supplier techniques to assure quality and consistency. The candidate will also be responsible for implementing strategies to reduce warranty, coordinating FMEA, evaluating field performance, working with cross-functional teams to prepare for product launches, implementing continuous improvement projects and communicating voice-of-the customer requirements.

Applicants will have three to five years of leading quality processes and initiatives and have experience in the reduction of quality costs through various approaches and improvements. The candidate will also have at least one year of experience in managing direct reports and providing leadership. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Stage Gate processes and leading quality teams across multi-site operations. This role requires working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, as well as superior organizational, time management and customer service skills.


Job Requirements

The minimum requirements are:

 BS Degree in Quality, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or similar technical concentration

 3 - 5 years of quality engineering experience

 1+ years in managing direct reports

 Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills

 MS Office application proficiency

 Ability to execute projects within specified timelines

 Knowledge of product quality improvement processes

 Product launch experience
