Job Description

  • Work closely with the engineering and operations team to ensure our manufacturing process meets or surpasses the required internal quality KPIs and specifications as well as any applicable government regulations.

  • Establishes statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error; determining levels of confidence.

  • Plan and conduct work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation or modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.

  • Provide support in the analysis and investigation of units and drive solution plans to completion by working with a cross functional team of supplier quality, sustaining engineering, research engineering, and operations.

  • Propose and implement changes to existing processes to streamline and improve overall performance while maintaining cost controls, creating cost effective use of resources, and ensuring quality.

  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline or Operations.

  • 7-10 years’ experience in a quality engineering, manufacturing environment.

  • Able to read fabrication drawings specifications, including geometric tolerance and welding specifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint. MS Project and MS Access would be a plus.

  • Proficient in using Solidworks, CAD and 3D model viewers/software including attribute assignments.

  • Works under limited supervision while implementing clearly communicated corporate strategy and goals. Must work on own initiative and constantly support the company mission.

  • Exercises a high degree of judgment.
