We are currently seeking a full time candidate for the position of Quality Control Analyst. The position is located in Kennesaw, GA and will report directly to the Operations Manager. The Quality Control Analyst will lead and facilitate the implementation of site specific quality initiatives and their continual improvement. Responsible for the site quality engineering activities and lead, coach, and facilitate problem solving, analysis of data and continual improvement activities. 

This individual will facilitate weekly quality clinics and be responsible for overseeing project activities across department objectives.

Performance is measured on defect reduction and improvement implementation based off monthly credits.

Job Responsibilities

  • Check the product lines at the beginning and throughout runs
  • Check line setups and batching setups for procedures and improvements
  • Audit the runs with specific actions and measurements
  • Manage all customer complaints and be the "go-to" for all sales issues
  • Regulate the BOM processes and changes
  • Regulate Batch sheets and update
  • Responsible for Prototype creation of new or changed products
  • Responsible for calibration of scales, meters and miscellaneous manufacturing equipment
  • Disposition of RA's
  • Incoming checks (Chemicals, Labels, etc.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 3-5 Years of experience working within a manufacturing environment
  • Skilled in Project Management
  • Customer interfacing and corrective action experience
  • Experience within the Chemical Industry is a plus
  • Strong personal leadership, vision, organizational and communication abilities
  • Technical and mechanical background desirable
  • Good computer/Microsoft Office skills required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
