Job Description

The Supervisor, Service Parts Quality, reports to the Strategic Sourcing Manager.  Respond to the administration needs of the quality control department by planning, implementing and maintaining quality procedures, programs and systems.  Will establish and assure maintenance of quality standards for all products.  Recommend corrective actions to ensure performance and on-going cost reduction.  Candidate will be responsible for installing and supervising inspection and testing procedures for parts.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain policies and procedures related to inbound inspection and rejected materials
  • Manage part warranty costs to achieve continuous improvements
  • Establish and measure key metrics to achieve continues improvement
  • Communicate with Product Engineering to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Works with vendors and sourcing to identify and resolve quality issues, including qualification and ongoing measurements of supplier quality.
  • Responsible for accuracy of HTS Codes for service parts.
  • Managing Quality Technicians:
  • Ensure that all established procedures are being followed
  • Provide training as needed
  • Motivate, coach and manager performance with associates
  • Support D&I values
  • Ensure a safe, harassment free working environment
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree, Engineering or related degree
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Quality, Engineering or an equivalent technical position
  • Proven interpersonal, leadership and relationship building skills
  • Planning and organizing skills demonstrated by past accomplishments
Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
  • 1-3 year’s supervisory experience
  • Lean SixSigma experience.
