The Program Administrator will support Engineering program teams by coordinating the activities of the cross-functional teams, including Leading internal and external program reviews, documentation of program meetings, and administration of action items and management of key program documents.


Duties and Responsibilities:  


  • Coordinate and support Program Management practices for managing programs with cross-functional team activities.

  • Responsible for planning, administering and completing assigned tasks in support of Engineering programs.

  • Responsible for administering regular program reporting and reviews, including managing information for reviews, coordinating meetings, capturing and publishing notes and action items and assigning tasks to the cross-functional team. Following up on open action items to ensure completion in support the overall program timing.

  • Updating the cross functional program documentation/dashboard to alert management to areas of success or concern.

  • Manage the program team document centers to ensure information is available and accessible to program team members.

  • Serve as an active member of the program team, completing tasks/assignments as needed to support overall program execution to meet timing, quality, technical and financial objectives.

  • Coordinates with engineering team, customers, vendors, and manufacturing team to ensure pre-production builds are achieved on time and under budget. Assists in scheduling launch production into manufacturing schedules.

  • Coordinates pre-productions and existing production tooling changes with vendors to meet business needs

  • Develop timelines for material ordering and custom deliverables, when necessary.

  • Help drive safety and PPE procedures/policies.

  • Ensure that all ITW guidelines are followed and safety work practices are enforced.

  • Other duties as assigned or directed.

Job Requirements

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in automotive industry

  • Experience in program management related function

  • Possess exceptional problem-solving skills and be able to work in a team environment

  • Ability to work with people in multiple regions and functions in a collaborative manner

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Hands-on approach and willingness to take on actions beyond the definition of the role

  • Can work effectively with minimal direct supervision

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project and Sharepoint.

  • Ability to prioritize, organize, schedule.
