Division Description:

ITW Medical manufactures and sells components and finished devices for use in Medical Imaging, Filtration, Infusion, and Minimally Invasive applications. The division serves as a tier 1 supplier to large medical device companies such as Medtronic, Abbott, etc. ITW Medical operates in 6 locations (US, Mexico, Ireland) with 500 employees.

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a flexible, self-starting team player to join our team as a Production Supervisor/Team Leader for our facility located in Washington, NC.

 Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance to all safety programs and applicable OSHA standards.

  • Ensure all company policies are followed including ergonomic rotations/stretching programs.

  • Facilitate positive culture that promotes teamwork inside and outside department.

  • Hire and provide a strong orientation process to new production associates.

  • Train and develop production associates to help them maximize their potential.

  • Execute performance reviews for production associates at the defined timeframes.

  • Ensure all Quality Systems procedures are followed and documented properly.

  • Review Device History Record (DHR) documentation and submit in a timely manner.

  • Perform Product Quality inspections & measurements to ensure standards are met or exceeded.

  • Guide and direct production associates to meet or exceed production efficiency and scrap standards.

  • Complete all payroll and attendance requirements for production associates within the allowed timeframe.

  • Execute appropriate disciplinary actions with production associates in compliance with company policies.

  • Provide operator relief for automatic machines.

  • Ensure Molding Area of responsibility is well-organized and good housekeeping practices are used.

  • Collect and Report Key Operational Metrics as defined by Production Manager.
