ITW Medical Products is comprised of two strong medical product brands, Coeur and Filtertek, situated to proactively meet the needs of customers in the marketplace. The Filtertek product line is comprised of custom plastic insert molded filtration and flow control components for global OEM medical device customers. Coeur is a leading provider of disposable medical products used in diagnostic imaging and other medical procedures.
Position Summary

Our Hebron, IL facility has an immediate opportunity for a Production Manager.  This role is responsible to direct, coordinate, track, and maintain production activities of the operations.  The selected individual will be responsible for, production scheduling and managing the resources to ensure that profitability objectives are met.  This position is a key member of the plant management team.  This position reports to the Plant Manager.


  • Ensure adequate plant staffing to meet production requirements, effectively managing and flexing labor. 
  • Manage production Team Leads and Shipping/Receiving
  • Approving biweekly payroll hours submitted by Team Leads
  • Maintaining discipline, attendance, and appropriate behavior. 


  • Manage Production Operations including material handling and warehouse.
  • Review applicable reports and set priorities for production activities.
  • Schedule equipment including presses, tooling and mold set-ups.
  • Work within a team to improve job performance and quality of products produced.
  • Monitor yield, scrap, and productivity; addressing variances to standards.
  • Monitor production rates, submit changes if needed to reflect current processes within operations.
  • Facilitate the implementing corrective actions, not limited to productivity, quality, safety and cost savings.
  • Partner with Engineering on CapEx activity and other manufacturing engineering projects

 Customer Service

  • Work with Customer Service to ensure products are shipped to customers as required. 
  • Communicating daily shipping requirements to warehouse and obtaining approval for premium freight as required.

Job Requirements


  • 4-year degree in field related to business, quality, technical/engineering, or related degree
  • Minimum 3 years of equivalent experience in customer service, procurement or manufacturing processes. 
  • Ability to correspond effectively and professionally in spoken and written language with key A customer
  • Ability to perform as a “player-coach”, multi-tasking hands-on responsibilities while managing direct reports
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. 
  • Ability to solve practical manufacturing problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing software systems (MRP/ERP) and MS Office.
