Job Description


This position purchases outsourced components and finished goods to keep all machines running and meeting orders while maintaining inventory.


·        Maintains inventory accuracy, carries out the necessary inventory transactions on the mainframe.

·        Responsible for the creation of all new AR#’s in system

·        Proactively prevent inaccurate inventory and correct

·        Acts as a central contact for all vendors

·        Orders parts and components from the outsourced vendors

·        Resolves vendor’s delivery discrepancies

·        Works with vendors on the build out of product during design change of parts

·        Reviews customer orders for large changes and adjusts vendor releases and notifies customer and Inventory Manager

·        Reviews daily shipment requirements, assist with bill of lading and notify appropriate leader of any deficiencies

·        Acts as a central customer contact for both molding and assembly

·        Enter purchase orders and customer pricing in computer system

·        Assist and ensure correct products are shipped

·        Audit shipments, as needed

·        Completed any other duties as assigned. 

Job Requirements


·        High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s Degree a plus

·        1+ years’ manufacturing experience preferred in inventory, purchasing materials, components or equivalent experience

·        Computer proficient in Microsoft Office, required, Trans4M a plus

·        Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

·        Must have the ability to work in a team or individually

·        Must be self-motivated and willing to grow and develop skills for advancement

·        Must be flexible to work overtime and weekends

·        Strong communication skills and data accuracy

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
