Illinois Tool Works is seeking a Product Manager for work in Lakeville, MN (suburb of Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN). The Product Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate marketing policies and programs. Analyze historic sales data and create long-term strategies to improve operating income and maximize profits and share of the market while ensuring customers are satisfied. Monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and services. Identify new markets and capitalize on existing market opportunities within the Industrial ovens and re-flow ovens industries. Work on marketing plans for the Thermal Technology group. Create and maintain competitive intelligence in the industry. Develop effective sales tools, training plans, and marketing collateral to drive sales. Identify focus areas to reduce costs through strategic sourcing and improve manufacturing efficiency. Domestic and foreign travel up to 25% as necessary and customary for the occupation.

Job Requirements

Qualified candidate must have a Master of Business Administration degree, or foreign equivalent, or closely related field of study. Qualified candidate must have at least 2 years (24 months) of experience working as a Product Specialist/Manager, Associate Product Manager, Business Development Manager, or closely related occupation, working on new product introduction, competitive intelligence, pricing, sales presentations, for a national/international product line ($10+million annual sales). Domestic and foreign travel up to 25% as necessary and customary for the occupation. All experience may be gained concurrently.
