There is currently an opportunity for a Process Engineer, reporting to the Director of Technology. This position will be based out of the Kernersville headquarters.


•   Overall responsibility for automation design.

•   Integrate systems hardware and software considering safety, performance and reliability.

•   Lead/support technical group in the integration of electrical and software systems including, PLCs, MMIs, vision inspection, PLC/DB integration with SPC system.

•   Prepare, submit and place equipment and component orders.

•   Select and/or work with external contractors in support of assigned projects.

•   Perform technical trouble-shooting in support of manufacturing and maintenance.

•   Support, participate and perform commissioning duties as needed, including system validation, system training and documentation.

•   Participate in equipment validation IQ, QQ, PQ.

•   Create equipment manuals and or videos.

•   Set-up maintenance schedules for processes.

•   Create standard operating procedures and work instructions.

Job Requirements

•   Associate’s degree in a related engineering discipline preferred or 3 years’ experience working in Maintenance or Engineering.

•   Experience using project tools such as design of experiment, six sigma, etc.

•   Must be able to work flexible hours.

•   Ability to work well with others in a cross-functional team.

•   Strong communication skills required; both oral and written.

•   Must be able to travel 10% of time to support equipment installation, troubleshooting and training for other sites.
