Job Description

Position Summary
Responsible for the product and marketing strategy for the Food Machines and Weigh/Wrap Service Parts product. Defines target markets and establishes market size and trends. Manages parts product lifecycle and pricing. Supervises planning and sales promotions of such products. Requires a high level of interface with Strategic Sourcing, Product Support and Training.

Responsibilities
  • Management of the product lifecycle from pre-product launch through end of life
  • Monitoring of the marketplace, customers and competitors
  • Develop pricing strategies and product policies that drive ongoing improvement in sales and profitability
  • Recommend price changes based on market data and trends.
  • Define the strategy of parts product line including recommending selling of parts at different levels (sub-assembly, kits, etc.)
  • Provide service performance reporting for all responsible products on an as-needed basis.
  • Work to maintain strategic partnerships with all functional groups within ITW Food Equipment Group including but not limited to engineering, manufacturing, sales, marketing, product management, field support and training, logistics, and field service offices
Required Skills
  • Bachelor of Science Degree
  • Minimum 3+ years relevant product management, marketing, or engineering experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Word, Excel, MSQuery and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Planning and organization skills demonstrated by past accomplishments
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with ITW Food Equipment Group Retail product
  • Degree in Engineering or other Business discipline
  • 5+ years of Product Management or related field
  • MBA
