Job Requirements



The Operations Engineer reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for motivating positive and productive employee development, strong customer relations skills, coupled with high energy experience to mentor and motivate a team to deliver quality product on time. 

What you will do:

•        Direct supervision of multiple employees including assisting with interviewing, hiring, and training of employees

•        Planning and directing work assignments of direct reports

•        Providing employees with feedback regarding performance, performance evaluations and solution-based communication for necessary improvement

•        Manufacturing parts as specified per job or customer requirements

•        Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

•        Implements and utilize 5 S

•        Responsible for all start-up approvals and approval to run parts

•        Responsible for quality of all products within assigned work area

•        Maintaining inventory accuracy for their parts and associated components

•        Month end metric reporting

•        Communicate regularly with Operations Manager, Plant Manager, Quality Manager, and HR Manager regarding any problems and/or concerns

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills

Education and Experiences:

•       Bachelor’s degree prefer technical field of study

•       Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience or at least one internship in a manufacturing environment   

•       Experience with production in a plastic injection molding/assembly manufacturing environment a plus

  • Ability to wear personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas
