Job Title: National Sales Account Manager – E-commerce
Location: South of UK, Home based, National travel
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE plus OTE of up to £18K + company car + laptop + phone
An exciting opportunity has become available for a National Sales Account Manager with E-commerce/ Online and Digital Account experience to join ITW Construction Products in a field based role. In this role the successful candidate will be a working alongside our experienced team of Key Account Manager’s and be responsible for supporting the development of profitable business relationships with those accounts within our National Accounts portfolio whose principle trade is web based and digital. 
As National Sales Account Manager- E-commerce your responsibilities and duties will include:
  • To deliver on agreed company target revenue and net profit and to ensure that this sector grows at a speed, which is beyond standard market growth.
  • To own, grow and nurture effective relationships with all relevant key stakeholders within the nominated accounts.
  • Develop incremental sales through proactive content management. 
  • Manage promotional calendar and catalogue inclusions to tie in with these customers’ key milestone dates annually. 
  • Position the ITW portfolio to win peak position within the market place via these fast paced and dynamic accounts. 
  • Act as a conduit for our business to interact at every level with these accounts to ensure that we are a built-in supplier.
  • To pro-actively seek market opportunities and lead the accounts towards these through market intelligence and data.
  • Pro-actively manage the product range and availability within the estate of these accounts.
  • To always embody the ITW core principles of Integrity, Simplicity, Trust, Respect, Shared Risk.

Job Requirements

Essential Skills and Competencies: 
  • Evidence of Key Account Management within current or previous positions.
  • Experience of sales preferably within the digital and online sector with specific focus on fast moving markets and products.
  • A proven record in growing sales and profitability.
  • Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Proven successful track record of networking, maintaining and developing strong professional relationships.
  • Actively contributes as a team player.
  • Natural ability to plan showing good attention to detail, organisation and follow through. 
  • Adept at making sound decisions quickly, whilst being flexible and adaptable in a changing environment. 
  • Excellent communicator at all levels internally and externally and able to present well in front of large and small groups.
  • Demonstrated drive, passion and commitment to achieve results.
  • Flexibility to travel nationally and spend extensive time on client site locations.
  • Full UK driving licence.
