The Procurement Manager will be responsible for the company’s end to end sourcing of products and services essential for our operations. In addition, the individual will be responsible for all phases of purchasing that require the skills necessary to identify cost saving opportunities, create competitive environments, creatively negotiate, generate contracts to assure seamless availability of all products to support the company objectives.



  • Effectively manages the flow of raw materials into the plant

    • Carry out purchasing activity in line with expectations concerning price, quality and delivery

    • Enter, track and update POs, expedite shipments, review and set raw material inventory targets, and manage stock outs

    • Respond to purchasing and planning enquiries, liaising between suppliers and internal department to control costs

    • Work closely with manufacturing suppliers to build relationships and ensure on-time in-full delivery to site

    • Work with existing replenishment system (ABC) and develop plans to support production and on-time in-full customer service.

  • Key voice in the supplier and raw material selection and accountable for purchasing decisions and inventory levels.

    • Gather and analyze supplier performance metrics

    • Manages supplier rationalization & raw material standardization

    • Engage suppliers to better understand market dynamics

  • Drive greater sourcing value to the organization by engaging departments and their stakeholders

    • Responsible for executing divisional sourcing strategy

    • Deliver cost savings and improved conversion costs by executing defined operation and sourcing projects based on ITW’s business framework

    • Monitor the progress of projects against agreed plans to ensure they are delivered in a timely fashion, within budget and to the required quality.

    • Perform raw material risk assessments and implement mitigation strategy

  • Maintain and update operational reports and databases, ensuring appropriate records are prepared and maintained for internal and external meetings

  • Communication of operational activity to staff and management including regular updating of achievement and progress against plan

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree and at least three (3) years purchasing/sourcing experience along with three plus years relevant operation/supply chain experience.

  • 3-5 years of work experience in manufacturing environment preferred

  • Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of supply chain and purchasing processes, policy, and systems

  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to create reports and conduct cost analyses

  • Excellent negotiation skills

  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to negotiate, establish, and process contracts

  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

  • Accurate and precise attention to detail

  • Able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment

  • Up to 25% travel





  • Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to perform general mathematical calculations for the purpose of creating needs assessments, budgets, and forecasting.

  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations.

  • Ability to present ideas in a user-friendly language.

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. Also lab and production work around machines.

  • Travel up to 25%. 

  • Limited physical effort required. Duties require ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds.

  • Some exposure to physical risk in plant and lab areas. Plant can/may include exposure to chemicals, heat, humidity, machinery with moving parts, noise. PPE required.
