Job Description

Accurately and efficiently receive, store, pick, pack, and ship inks, combos, and ink-related products. Ensure quality material handling by paying attention to correct customers, locations, quantities, shipping methods, labeling and shipping requirements. Cross train in all duties, assisting in controlling costs, and meeting inventory goals.


  • Receive, log, stock, and stage materials in the correct locations. Maintain effective inventory levels (KanBan or other system).
  • Print accurate packing slips and picking product per instructions and complete related log sheets and computer entry. Close material transfers. Complete all shipping related paperwork accurately.
  • Prioritize and mark packing slips and orders per instructions. Note lot numbers on slips per instruction and enter shipment information into automated shipper computer system.
  • Accurately pick and pack materials and related MSDS sheets as necessary. Pack products per procedure and customer shipping requirements including bar code labels, material certifications, custom labeling, etc.
  • Verify accuracy of product numbers and quantities per the packing slip.
  • Process non-conforming products in a timely manner.
  • Track material shipments as requested by customers or customer service.
  • Restock materials and supplies for each following days activity. Review shipping supply list and order necessary materials.
  • Perform regular housekeeping including organizing and warehouse locations, pallet rack area, and work space.
  • Perform proper disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Cross train in cell for all duties and proper operating procedures.
  • Maintain any cell equipment regularly.
  • Become certified to ship HAZMAT products
  • Become certified on ITW forklifts
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • HS. Diploma or GED with at least one year of warehouse experience including picking, packing and shipping. Some inventory control system experience.
  • Basic PC skills including use of Word and Excel, MS Outlook.
  • Forklift certified – or within 90 days of hire. Will provide training.
  • Hazmat certification for shipping materials – or attend training and receive certificate within 90 days of hire.
