Scope: This position reports to the Operations Manager or designee. This position is responsible for providing product support to the independent service agents' network which supports Ranges and Heated Holding equipment in the field.




Function: To provide an excellent customer service experience related to technical support of commercial Range and Heated Holding  products in the field. Provides support to independent service agents and end users and review warranty claims .




Minimum Qualifications

Education
Associates degree in related business or customer service 
Technical Degree or applicable experience in lieu of degree




Experience and Abilities
3+ years
Experience in technical field support for manufactured units in Commercial Cooking Industry 
Experience in Customer facing roles with hand tool experience 
Ability to read and interpret Engineering schematics
Experience in problem solving roles using mechanical ability for customers and or clients 
Prior Technician experience supporting Electrical, Plumbing and or Construction environments 
Good Communications skills oral and written 
Ability to use Microsoft office suite - Word, Powerpoint, Excel 
Ability to perform internet searches and do  internet research

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:
* Provide technical troubleshooting and repair assistance to independent service agents in
   the field.


* Facilitate resolution of equipment and service performance complaints received from
   customers.


* Investigate and assist Customer Service, Engineering, and Manufacturing with
   resolution development for equipment performance.


* Conduct or support in-house training.


* Review for technical merit and process warranty claims within approval limitations. 


* Support upgrades and retrofit programs as needed.


* Meet with engineering to formulate a corrective action plan and timeline


* Assist with the development of Owner's Manuals, parts lists, and technical support
   documents.


* Conduct 80/20 component analysis monthly

Office Environment
* Some manufacturing floor and warehouse environment
* Frequent, daily use of telecommunications equipment ,  email, internet

Additional Considerations 
Salary Range 50,000 to 65,000 per year.
Postion does qualify for Overtime considerations
