ITW Food Equipment Group LLC, through its subsidiaries, designs, manufactures, and services commercial food equipment for foodservice and food retail customers. The company’s products include warewashing equipment; cooking equipment including ovens, ranges, and broilers; refrigeration equipment including refrigerators, freezers, and prep tables; food processing equipment including slicers, mixers, and scales; and kitchen exhaust, ventilation, and pollution control systems. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for the marketing communications initiatives, including SEO, digital marketing, and external/internal messaging for the Service organization that is consistent with service and marketing objectives.  In addition, this position will be responsible for leading trade show activities and the Service National meeting.   

Scope
Reporting to the VP, Sales & Marketing, this position has extensive interface with all levels of the Field Service organization and requires coordination with other FEG marketing/sales organizations.  May direct the activities of a marketing intern/co-op student.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support service selling activities by assisting with target account identification, office target identification, office service training, , sales planning, customer presentations, demonstrations, and Troy visitations.
  • Assist with the identification of sales opportunities by working with the service and selling divisions, National Accounts Managers, Region Service Managers, Region Sales Managers and other field selling positions as necessary.
  • Assist in justifying, recommending, implementing, monitoring and summarizing service promotion programs.  Develop the appropriate supporting service marketing materials.
  • Maintain the Service organization Microsoft SharePoint website.
  • Lead the Service Organization‘s particiapation at national and regional industry association trade shows.
  • Assist in the design all marketing communications tools including promotions, direct mail, corporate e-mail etc.  Maintain advertising interface (media ads, trade show displays, brochures, etc.)  Coordinate communication programs (on-hold tape, articles, etc.)
  • Coordinate / administer all direct mail efforts for regional and local direct mail campaigns on behalf of field offices from idea generation to the final printing.  Serve as field liaison between branch field offices coordinating mailing projects with offices.  Maintain customer lists and external databases for mailing efforts.
  • Other duties as specified by the VP.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in  Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • 5-7 years of marketing experience
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, events and projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage and influence cross-functional teams with or without formal authority
  • Self-starter who is committed to the job and seeks empowerment and accountability and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational dynamics
  • Solid presentation skills
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Strong analytical and decision making skills
