Marketing/Sales Coordinator



Illinois Tool Works (ITW) is a Fortune 200 company that produces diversified products in global markets. The Food Equipment Group, one of eight ITW decentralized business segments, is seeking a Marketing/Sales Coordinator for the Warewash Division at its Troy, Ohio facility.

Reporting to the Sales Development Manager, the Marketing/Sales Coordinator will be responsible for creating, leading and communicating various activities to promote organic growth within the business. The candidate will work closely with both internal and external partners requiring professionalism, courtesy and tact. The position requires a highly organized individual that is self-motivated, capable of independent work and, where attention to detail and multitasking is essential. The applicant should have excellent follow-up skills and be team-oriented with the ability to effectively interact with co-workers, customers, sales people and product line managers.

Responsibilities of the Marketing/Sales Coordinator:



•  Support Warewash Division with forecasting and managing of weekly outlooking reports


•  Manage and communicate sales programs and initiatives to the sales organization


•  Work closely with marketing management to build marketing/sales playbooks


•  Engage with Customer Care, Credit, Manufacturing and Warewash Technical groups


•  Audit and provide material for inter-company sales dealer schools and training classes


•  Organize, measure and impact lead generation for Warewash products


•  Follow up with customers and sales representatives on opportunities and results


•  Manage internal service incentive programs


•  Other responsibilities include conducting surveys, tracking specifications to regularly monitor our competitive climate, supporting product launches, controlling and distributing marketing materials and reporting trends

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

●  Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Marketing or equivalent experience

●  3+ years of sales and/or customer support experience

●  Excellent interpersonal skills including oral and written communications.

●  Proficient in Microsoft Office

●  Ability to plan and coordinate projects as an individual contributor or as a member of a cross-functional team


Preferred Qualifications:

●  Foodservice Equipment Product Knowledge

●  Experience with Auto Quotes

●  Experience supporting internal and external customers in a manufacturing environment

●  Experience with Salesforce or CRM-based software

●  Ability to read and decipher quotations and purchase orders

●  Presentation skills
