Alpine is seeking a Marketing Manager to join our team.  The Marketing Manager creates and executes B2B marketing programs that build awareness, grow sales and market share, and increase brand loyalty.

The Marketing Manager creates and executes B2B marketing programs that build awareness, grow sales and market share, and increase brand loyalty.  This position uses in-depth knowledge of customers, products, markets, influencers, and competitors to develop marketing plans and align strategies with the most efective marketing tactics to achieve business goals.  This position manages a small team as well as creative agencies and works cross-functionally with the Alpine team.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Uses customer segmentation, market data, and competitor intelligence to develop and execute marketing brand strategies and plans. 
  • Responsible for data analytics including market sizing/market share and Quads/Quartiles and PLS initiatives.
  • In coordination with sales, lead the pricing strategy.
  • Develops the communications strategy and messaging to effectively position the organization with internal and external stakeholders through email campaigns, direct mail, video, PR, white papers, advertising (print and online), events and trade shows, webinars, brochures, web site, case studies, customer testimonials, social media, etc.  Ensures web site content is updated, relevant, and optimized for industry key words. May be called upon to write and edit content. 
  • Partners across the organization (e.g., product management, sales, training, engineering, customer service, etc.) to support plan development and execution. 
  • Collaborates with the sales and product management teams to develop value propositions that effectively promote products and services.  Develops plans and materials to execute new product launches including software release communication and white papers. Supports  all stages of the sales funnel and the ongoing customer relationship.
  • Develops and manages the marketing budget.  Implements cost controls and ensures adherence to budget on a monthly basis.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or comparable discipline is required.
  • At least 5 years of progressive B2B marketing experience is required.  Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
  • At least 2 years of management experience is desirable, with demonstrated leadership competency and the ability to drive change.
  • Proven experience translating strategic plans into integrated marketing communications programs is required.
  • Business acumen and analytical skills are required to align marketing strategies with customer segmentation and measure/report marketing ROI.
  • Demonstrated experience selecting and managing creative agencies required.  Ability to engage and lead outside resources to work on integrated teams is essential.
  • Proven ability to plan and manage a budget is required.
  • Strong planning and project management skills are required.  Must have outstanding attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Exceptional written, oral, and presentation skills are required. Excellent creative and objective writing skills needed to support marketing material development.
  • Superior knowledge of PowerPoint and Word required. 

  • Up to 20% travel required to sites throughout North America
