Job Description

The Marketing Intern will provide support to the ITW Industrial Decorating Solutions Marketing team by participating in branding refresh improvement projects to assure logos, business cards, marketing templates, etc. have been updated. The brands need to update all marketing materials and customer-facing documentation to reflect the new branding requirements. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in getting involved in all aspects of Business or Marketing. While in this role, you will be expected to work towards goals, deliver results, and present to business leaders.



Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of administrative support functions in support of Marketing as assigned/needed
• Gather all documents from various departments at each business based on the communications audit
• Organize and prioritize documents based on department and business
• Work with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office to update the documents with new branding
• Develop and implement a version control system
• Define and implement an organization structure for the Marketing folders

Job Requirements

Education:  Current enrollment or recent graduate of Bachelor’s/Master’s degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

Experience/Skills: 

  • Completed at least two years of undergraduate coursework
  • Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, Photoshop (required)
  • Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint (required)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Possess a professional attitude with attention to detail, as well as interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment with minimal supervision
