About the opportunity:
The Hobart Service Division has an excellent opportunity for marketing majors to gain practical experience in their field as a Marketing Intern. As an intern, you will provide marketing support to Hobart Service U.S. field organization, provide Integrated marketing communications support and market research/sales analysis to assist in development of marketing programs and strategies that drive sales growth in our service business and assist Marketing Manager with various marketing programs.
Some of the experience you will gain during this internship is:
  • Administer digital marketing, direct mail & email campaigns for Hobart Service U.S. from idea generation to the final printing, mailing/emailing, costing and tabulation of results.  
  • Serve as liaison between field offices and the corporate printing, mailing and literature departments.
  • Order and distribute promotional material (magnets, equipment stickers, on-hold tape messages).
  • Coordinate and planning for industry trade show events as well as Service’s National Meeting.
  • Spreadsheet / database analysis, periodical searches.  Maintain markets and competitive database library.
  • Serve as field liaison regarding information gathering and dissemination.   Activities include conducting internal surveys, competitive comparisons and tracking secondary research.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction database.
EDUCATION:  Must be a junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Marketing or related field
SOFTWARE: Adobe In Design and Photoshop experience is a plus
HOURS: 40 Hours per week
COMPENSATION: Dependent on college year and qualifications
