BASIC DESCRIPTION:

This position will make decisions regarding customers, business and employee needs to ensure customer satisfaction. The individual must have strong decision making abilities and a positive attitude with the ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide leadership in identifying and execution of manufacturing and quality initiatives.
  • Coordinate manufacturing audits, training, capital equipment, tools and maintenance across multiple lines and facilities.
  • Identify, lead and manage projects regarding safety, quality, productivity, delivery and financial impact.
  • Support employee onboarding and training programs, including continuous improvement.
  • Provide consistent and constructive feedback to business leadership to drive continuous improvement across the division.
  • Drive 6S program creation as well as execution and sustainment.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Successful and demonstrated record of building positive relationships with co-workers and management.
  • Must have experience leading projects and participating on diverse teams.
  • Strong leadership acumen with the ability to hold themselves and their teams accountable for results.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing environment with materials, processes, and equipment.
  • Bachelor's Degree or currently working towards a degree related to Manufacturing or Operations.
  • Aspirations to grow in their career within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience in AutoCAD, SolidWorks or other modeling tools preferred
