Summary: Support and maintain a variety of machines that relate to the manufacture of hot stamp foil by performing the following duties.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Perform routine maintenance on coating, embossing, metallizing, mixing and converting equipment

 

Perform necessary repairs on manufacturing equipment when needed.

 

Develops, recommends, and implements preventative maintenance system or program to maintain the level of performance of the manufacturing equipment focusing on predictive maintenance.

 

Develop and manage a spare parts inventory for all manufacturing equipment.

 

Provide necessary support to manufacturing equipment through call-ins and or weekend work when manufacturing equipment is scheduled down.

 

Assist in equipment upgrades relating to drive systems, power transmission, electro / pneumatic systems as well as other related mechanical systems.

Education and/or Experience:                                                    

 

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Technical Skills:

Machine shop, welding, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, control systems, power systems, electrical troubleshooting.

Language Skills:                                                             

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees within our organization.

Reasoning Ability:                                                         

Ability to prioritize issues with minimal supervision. Ability to apply sound mechanical knowledge to solve or recommend repairs or upgrades to manufacturing equipment.  Ability to formulate or document reports on repairs and or upgrades.  Ability to deal with
problems involving several variables in a variety of situations.

Computer Skills:                                                            

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of E-mail Internet software;  Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.

Other Skills and Abilities:                                                           

Ability to follow Safe Practices as dictated by Company policy, LOTO, NFPA70E, hot work etc.. Ability to work overtime and weekends.
