Job Description

ITW Drawform Division serves major tier suppliers with tightly toleranced and innovative components for the automotive and industrial markets totaling approximately $300M in revenues globally. The Division holds  a  leadership position in North America, a growing presence in Europe and also supports ITW initatives for our facility in China.  The division drives profitability by leveraging its innovative solutions,  design engineering and global footprint.

The Maintenance Machinist is responsible to perform preventive and repair maintenance on production presses in a timely and efficient manner in support of production priorities.

  • Work from blueprints, diagrams, operations manuals and manufacturing specifications to determine maintenance requirements.
  • Perform preventive maintenance according to established schedules.
  • Analyze problems and effect most economical method of repair.
  • Disassemble machinery, make proper repairs and reassemble.
  • Keep necessary records associated with maintenance activities.


Job Requirements

Requirements include:

  • Five or more years of experience with the maintenance of production presses (US Baird, Waterbury Farrel, Minster, Platarg or similar).
  • Ability to set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, grinders, milling machines, drill presses, etc.
  • Knowledge of all types of oiling systems - hand and automatic.
  • Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Ability to analyze, repair and set up new systems.
