Job Description


M&C SPECIALTIES, an Illinois Tool Works (ITW) company, located in Southampton, PA, is seeking an energetic and skilled Machine Operator to join our team. Shift hours are 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. M-F.

   

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Setting up and operating machine(s) to die cut, dri-edge, score, slit, laminate and print parts of a specified size or shape from various pressure sensitive and non-pressure sensitive materials. 

Verifying materials are correct and quantity of materials is adequate to complete job as specified on work order. 

Inserting tooling, if required, into die area and locking into place.  

Positioning material on machine to ensure proper alignment with tooling. 

Adjusting tension on machine prior to running job and continuing to fine tune tension as needed throughout job. 

Conducting quality checks throughout production run to ensure customer’s quality expectations are being met.

Job Requirements

Required skills and experience:

Minimum 6-months of experience and/or training on production machinery

Commitment to safety and supporting an accident-free workplace

 ● A customer-first mindset 

 ● Ability to adhere to M&C’s quality standards and current good manufacturing practices 

 ● Ability to produce quality parts, meet production deadlines, and achieve results

Good mechanical aptitude as well as basic math and measurement skills

Ability to read and understand written work instructions and prints

Willingness to learn various machines

Effective communication skills

Lifting and/or moving objects up to 50 pounds

Ability to handle and work with magnetic dies

Excellent attendance

High school diploma or equivalent
