The ITW Specialty Films Division has manufacturing and sales in the Americas, Europe and Asia.  The division has amassed vast experience in the development, design, and manufacture of a wide array of unique films, foils, holography, laminates, and transfers.  The division offers customers a comprehensive, broad portfolio of unique solutions for a wide variety of consumer and industrial applications including architectural, card, containers, cosmetics and personal care, medical, pipe and cable, transportation parts and accessories and more.  These solutions are used by customers around the world and can be applied to a wide range of substrates including: glass, label, metal, plastic, rubber and wood. 

Operation of a laminator, including set up, line speed, splices, quality control functions, operation of process control equipment and testing equipment.


  • Set up and operate a highly complex four station roll to sheet lamination machine and digital Polar cutter, including set up, machine adjustments, quality reviews, and routine preventative maintenance.

  • Mix adhesives according to required formulas.

  • Utilize written production Run Sheets, customer specs and sales orders to prepare production equipment for safe, efficient production.

  • Maintain proper written production, quality and inventory documentation.

  • Maintain production documentation on AS400 system.

  • Utilizing quality control procedures and follow documented instructions on testing procedures and processes vs. established standards.

  • Perform material handling duties, including forklift use and computer transactions.

  • Operate pumping/filtering equipment.

  • Make machine adjustments, based on quality test.

  • Clean and maintain all equipment.

  • Use tape measures, scales, micrometers, LEL meters, pyrometers, hand tools and hoists.

  • Follow all safety rules as required.

  • General housekeeping duties.  Must maintain neat and orderly work area.

  • Strictly adhere to safety regulations, security regulations and work rules.

  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements


  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 1-2 years coating machinery or printing press experience

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.

  • Ability to follow instructions (both written and verbal).

  • Ability to work safely in both a high ambient temperature and hazardous environment.

  • Ability to operate heavy equipment, such as forklift.

  • Work with minimal supervision in a work cell

  • Inventory control functions required. 

  • Strong mathematical/measurement ability required.
